Hey there, I must repeat what Niki said below, “I figured we should stop hijacking that thread” :P
I’m up to the chapter titled “Coming to America”, just after he stayed at that guys house with the three sisters and one of them gave him a coin. Does it pick up from here or should I already have got into it? I got sidetracked and started reading The God Delusion, but if you tell me that American Gods gets better from where I’ve read up to then I’ll get stuck into it again :)

I think people have a lot of reasons for driving inefficient cars, some good, some bad. Personally I like living in a society that allows us to be selfish and make bad decisions. In this particular case, I think market forces will drive us to make better decisions about cars, and that’s how it should be. Regulation is a last resort in my book.
